Keeping your personal and school accounts secure starts with a strong password!

Weak passwords make it easy for hackers to access your sensitive information, leading to potential security risks.

Here are some tips to create a strong password and keep your accounts safe:

  1. Make it long.

  2. Use a mix of characters โ€“ Combine uppercase & lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

  3. Avoid obvious choices โ€“ No birthdays, pet names, or "password123"

  4. Never share your password!

WELLNESS

Supporting Students with Insights from our School Psychologist

Developmental disabilities are a group of conditions related to the impairment in physical, learning, language, or behavioral areas. Examples of developmental disabilities can include autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, Tourette's syndrome, intellectual disability, and a few others. Therefore, understanding social/emotional changes and learning challenges can help support these students.

๐Ÿ’ก Here are a few positive tips for parents:

โœ” Spend quality time with your childโ€”talk about their friends, accomplishments, and challenges to encourage open communication.

โœ” Get involved in their education by attending school events, meeting teachers, and staying engaged in their learning.

โœ” Encourage extracurricular activitiesโ€”joining a sports team, club, or volunteering can help build confidence and life skills.

โœ” Help them set goalsโ€”talk about their strengths and the skills they want to develop to boost self-awareness and motivation.
